Designed to complement a newly built contemporary-style home, this garden has a bold structure of hedges, lawns and paved areas reflecting the generous proportions of the house. With large windows overlooking the garden, a pair of beautiful mature Magnolia trees cannot fail to be the main focus.
Tall grasses filter views of the two stone terraces that allow plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing. In contrast, an intimate herb and flower garden was laid out around the restored timber summerhouse in the brightest corner and the trampoline was concealed behind Yew hedges.
To the front of the house a permeable gravel drive with stone details was enclosed with shade tolerant planting of low hedges, ferns, foxgloves and grasses.
